The ABInbev Packaging Innovation team achieved a remarkable outcome by revolutionizing paper and carton production. Repurposing one of their waste products from beverage production, they managed to create a sustainable solution for their packs: using every part of the barley they use in their beer recipes to create a new material.

ABInbev's packaging innovation team, faced with the rapid evolution of consumer preferences and increasing environmental concerns, sought to reimagine their packaging solutions.

The team recognized the pressing need to deliver new value throughout their extensive value chain, but the conventional approaches posed significant barriers.
